About Us
Many people will spend their lives in a Marcon home, so we have to build it right, every time. Founded in 1985, Marcon is an established real estate company specializing in acquiring, developing, building and managing properties across Metro Vancouver. A focus on quality and craft is what the business was built on, giving us a trusted name in the construction community. These principles have remained a focus as we’ve expanded into the real estate development and operations space, managing our own projects from conception through to execution, completion, and more recently ongoing management.
We have a commitment to providing elevated experiences at every touch point between our people, our buildings, and our communities. None of this is possible without a hardworking team, working together, to make it all happen. That’s why we’re looking for people who are eager to join an intelligent and motivated team to create something bigger than themselves and build communities that will impact a neighbourhood in infinite ways.
Job Description
Marcon is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to provide reliable, responsive IT support across our Vancouver office and construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Vancouver-based IT support, helping employees stay connected, productive, and supported in their day-to-day work.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will take a lead role in resolving technical issues, coordinating service requests, supporting hardware and software deployments, and maintaining dependable workplace technology. As the Vancouver lead, you'll help ensure consistent IT support across office and field environments, including endpoint devices, Microsoft 365, meeting room technology, and day-to-day technical operations.
You'll also contribute to security operations, including phishing awareness, device compliance, and access management, while helping employees confidently adopt approved digital and AI tools such as Claude. Working within a collaborative IT team, you'll have the opportunity to improve the employee technology experience and contribute to Marcon's evolving IT capabilities.

- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Security Awareness: Familiarity with endpoint security, phishing response, device compliance, and identity and access management practices.
- Digital & AI Fluency: Practical experience using AI assistants such as Claude, with an understanding of responsible AI use and the ability to help others adopt new tools.
- Mobility: A valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to a vehicle for travel between Lower Mainland locations.
