Are you an experienced PR Account Manager and looking for an exciting new career opportunity?
Nine Point Agency is on the hunt for a lifestyle-obsessed, entrepreneurial-minded candidate
who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and shares a natural interest in PR and marketing!
ABOUT NINE POINT AGENCY
Nine Point is a PR and marketing agency built for brands that refuse to blend in. We are strategists, connectors, and cultural architects. We move differently. Our team doesn’t just watch the landscape - we shape it. With decades of experience in PR, media, digital marketing, and cultural trendspotting, we engineer influence that creates real-world impact.
ABOUT YOU
- You’re a self-starter, eager to keep growing and learning new skills in PR, social media, and digital marketing.
- You’re highly creative with a genuine interest in lifestyle, wellness, fashion, beauty, design, travel, real estate and food & beverage.
- You’re extremely detail-oriented with a strong ability to adapt to different situations, enabling you to confidently tackle any challenges that may arise.
- Managing multiple projects comes easily to you, and you thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
- You’re familiar with social media platforms and their unique benefits for different content.
- You’re someone who can always be counted on – meeting deadlines and consistently supporting your team and clients however you can.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
You’re not just managing accounts - you’re making moves.
Reporting directly to our Senior Vice President and Vice President, you’ll be at the centre of client strategy, media relations, and day-to-day execution. You’ll own client relationships, spot the opportunities others miss, and turn smart thinking into work that gets people talking.
From building relationships with local and national media and securing meaningful coverage, to developing PR strategies, activating influencers, and bringing new ideas to the table, you’ll have a hand in every part of the work. You’ll also support Nine Point’s social presence, contribute to new business, oversee reporting and account administration, and help keep our clients - and our team - moving forward.
As a senior member of the Nine Point team, you’ll also mentor junior talent, bring a strategic POV to the room, and lead by example. Think equal parts strategist, connector, executor, and opportunity-spotter - with the instincts to know when to push the idea further.
Bottom line: you’ll help turn brands into stories, stories into influence, and influence into impact.
A day in your life will involve a little bit of everything, including:
- Lead the team. Manage, mentor, and motivate Account Coordinators and Interns, helping them grow while keeping the work moving forward.
- Make media moves. Proactively spot, pitch, and secure PR and media opportunities, build meaningful media relationships, and identify the right moments to put our clients in the conversation.
- Own the work. Take the lead on client accounts and bring strategies to life at a high level - from PR and media relations to influencer campaigns and beyond.
- Be the client champion. Build trusted relationships, bring energy and ideas to client meetings, and stay one step ahead of what clients need.
- Stay ahead of the curve. Spearhead PR, influencer, and social projects while keeping a close eye on what’s next - from emerging trends and platforms to new ways brands can show up and stand out.
- Keep things moving. Partner closely with our SVP and VP on agency priorities, special projects, new ideas, and whatever else comes across the desk.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or other relevant discipline.
- 3+ years of agency and/or PR experience in addition to 1+ years of experience in a managerial role.
