We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Drafter to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience preparing electrical drawings and coordinating with engineers and other disciplines to support building and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop lighting, power distribution, electrical layout, and related building system drawings.
- Assist in preparing electrical plans, schedules, details, and construction documents.
- Coordinate drawings with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Incorporate engineering markups and revisions accurately.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support project teams throughout the design and construction documentation process.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience in electrical drafting for commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial projects is an asset.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Understanding of electrical building systems, drawings, and applicable codes.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
