Original job description

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.

In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

Edge Transportation is growing and we're helping qualified drivers become Owner Operators through our PowerLease Program.

Whether you're already driving for Edge or looking to join our team, we'll help you take the next step toward truck ownership. The role is an open dispatch role running coast to coast.

What We Offer

$12K - $14K gross ever 2 weeks
Potential access to select Edge-owned trucks at below-market pricing
Flexible financing through PowerLease
Potentially 0% down for qualified applicants
Consistent, established freight
Support from an experienced team
Build equity in your own truck, not someone else's

What You Bring

A positive CAN-DO attitude
Safety conscious approach to all job duties
Class 1A Driver’s License – Minimum 2 year highway driving experience required
1 year flat/step deck experience required
Willing to run on open dispatch, coast to coast
A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening

All applicants will adhere to a criminal record search, drug and alcohol screen

We love diversity!! We are an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity in the workplace and welcome applications from qualified women, men, visible minorities, aboriginal people and persons with disabilities. However only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Edge Transport is a member of the TF Energy Solutions Group of Companies
